There is a United Benefit Church on Sunday 30th October at St. Edith’s, Church Eaton. If anyone would like to ring for the service please arrive at 10am for a 10.30am service. The Church Eaton will be grateful on any help received.

David Simpson
It was great sadness to learn that David Simpson who was tower captain at St. Michael's, Stone passed away earlier today. I had rung many quarters with David and used to attend a monthly surprise major practice he used to help to organise. He was also joint web master of the North Staffs Website, Peal and Membership coordinator.
Stone Bell Ringers rang a quarter peal in his memory today; https://bb.ringingworld.co.uk/view.php?id=1551681, I am sure there will be many more rung in his memory and he will be greatly missed.
Our prayers and thoughts are with his wife Margaret, his two daughters and family.

Saturday 15th October - 2.15pm until 3pm - Visiting Band
Sunday 16th October - 5.30 Ringing for 6pm Service
Wednesday 19th Ocyober - 5.30pm Ringing for 6pm Compline Service
Sunday 23rd October - No Ringing - 8.30am Service
Haughton Bell Ringers practice every Tuesday evening from 8pm until 9pm. We welcome new ringers, and anyone who would like to visit us to find out more.
