Message from a recent visiting band

Good evening Trevor,

I just want to thank you and the Church bell ringing team at Haughton, on behalf of Ian and my friends who were on our recent outing to Staffordshire. Haughton was so beautiful, a great place to visit. We really enjoyed ringing your bells and we were made to feel most welcome.
Thank you so much.

Kind regards,

Steve

Emily Lock's First Quarter 16-2-25

After first learning to ring in July 2024, Emily Lock rang her first quarter peal this evening.  The team was:

1272 Plain Bob Minimus
53 full extents rung on 2, 3, 4, 5 with 1 leading and 6 tenor behind
1. Jocelyne Lock
2. Trevor Stacey
3. Trevor Lock (C)
4. Karen Powell (Weaver)
5. Samuel Weaver
6. Emily Lock

First quarter for Emily Lock, well done! It was the first quarter our local band was made up from 3 generations of the same family.
3 Locks, 2 Weavers and 2 Trevor's rang in the quarter.
Wishing Matthew Lock (Son of 1, Brother of 3, and Uncle of 6) a speedy and full recovery from his 4th lot of chemo. £10 has been donated to Blood Cancer UK.

The performance can be view on Bell Board:
