A Royal Knees Up
Marion Aranyos
It is with great sadness to announce that Marion Aranyos has passed away. Marion and Bertie (her late husband) attended the church services regularly, and both were great supporters of the church and our bell ringing. After Bertie's passed, Marion still kept a regular attendance.
Marion organised the church flowers for many years and would also have the neatly arranged and displayed for every occasion and festival. Marion did a lovely job arranging our wedding flowers.

At last they're Back - Stafford Bells Ring Out
It been a lot of hard work and it has seemed like for ever, but Stafford Bells have now been installed and we had the first ring on them this evening. The 'Try Out' was well attended with ringers coming from afar who has helped along the way. The first ring was on the old Hanley 10 which hadn't been rung since the 1980's
The next ring was on the ring of twelve. This is the first ring on twelve bells ever at Stafford.
The third ring was on the light 8.
It has been a long old road getting here, with many setbacks and a lot of hard work by many people, however full credit has to be given to Nigel Horritt who never gave up as had so much patience in getting the project completed. The bell ring and handle lovely well and they are going to be a great asset to the County Town.
