No Practice at Haughton on Tuesday 8th October - Other local practices are held at Lilleshall, Penkridge, Brewood and Stoke Minster, please check with their tower correspondents if they are ringing.

St. Mary's Stafford Bell Project Story

St. Mary's Stafford Bell Ringers have published and produced a book

A fascinating story documenting the relocation of the complete ring of ten Gillett and Johnson bells from Hanley to the Collegiate Church of St. Mary's Stafford. 

The project also includes augmentation to twelve bells made possible by the casting of two new bells. In addition, the project retained a further eight original Stafford bells for the clock chimes and further ringing opportunities

There will be no service on Sunday as the Vicar has Rural Dean commitments at St. Chad's in Stafford.  You are welcome to join her service there.

D-Day Ringing 80 years - Ringing Out for peace!

The church bells throughout the country have been ringing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, so at Haughton we rang ours for Half an hour at 5pm this evening.  The Bell Ringers were:
